Wisconsin Oven Corporation  shipped two (2) electrically heated combination airflow ovens to a manufacturer of water filtration products. The industrial ovens will be a mirror of each other, and be used to cure epoxy on water element (filters). The curing ovens will utilize a conveyor system to move the product through the ovens.

The conveyor ovens have maximum temperature ratings of 200°F and heating chamber dimensions of 6’ W x 20’ L x 8’ H. The customer required guaranteed temperature uniformity of ±10°F at 120°F & 140°F, which was documented in a standard nine (9) point profile test. There are three (3) 46” wide x 20” high profile openings provided at each end of the oven. The equipment also features six (6) 23” wide x 10” high viewing windows (3 per side and staggered) and two (2) interior lights.

The recirculation system utilizes combination airflow with two (2) 6,000 CFM @ 7.5 HP direct driven blowers. The combination airflow provides both horizontal and vertical upward airflow, maximizing the heating rates and temperature uniformity of the product. The curing oven is constructed with tongue and groove panel assemblies featuring Wisconsin Oven’s patented high efficiency panel seams that provide 25% better insulating efficiency.

“In addition to the low maintenance direct drive blower that have no drive belts to maintain, this equipment was designed with several access points. Both of these design features allow for ease of maintenance for our customer.” - Tom Trueman, Senior Application Engineer

Unique features of these industrial ovens include:

  • Guaranteed temperature uniformity of ±10°F at 120°F & 140°F
  • Tongue and groove panel assemblies featuring Wisconsin Oven’s patented high efficiency panel seams
  • UL certified and labeled NEMA 12 enclosure
  • SSR power control
  • Programmable temperature controller and high limit controller

The curing ovens were fully factory tested and adjusted prior to shipment from our facility. All safety interlocks are checked for proper operation and the equipment is operated at the normal and maximum operating temperatures. An extensive quality assurance check list was completed to ensure the equipment met all Wisconsin Oven quality standards. #09959AB
